Delhi Development Authority to Save the Unsafe Buildings


Central Building research Institute recently conducted a survey which suggested that around 75% buildings near River Yamuna (Flood Plains) are not safe to live. The survey also said that there are chances that even a mild earthquake can come out to be a tragic one. The Chairperson the  Delhi Development Authority Lieutenant General  Tejinder Khanna has ask the DDA Officers and Members to look into this matter. According to Mr Khanna, he has asked the developers also to utilize the opportunity to develop the unauthorized colonies. He also said that the developer will be given an additional FAR for these such developments.

Khanna also stated that this move of developers can be significant step towards the Master Plan of Delhi 2021.
