National Capital Region was the Most Active Real Estate Zone in 2012

Delhi and its different neighborhoods were the most active market for the real estate sector in the year 2012. Well, a survey, organized by an Indian English Daily, says the same story. The survey was conducted in the most active cities across the country and the results are now out.

Delhi along with its neighboring cities topped the list of cities with maximum number of launched residential and commercial projects. In Noida itself, more than 25% of the total residential projects were launched last year. Noida, after the commencement of the Yamuna Expressway, has risen with a new energy to shine more. The construction work of many real estate companies and builders is being completed on a full pace. M.K. Mitra, presently a local realty builder having his own residential projects in the Noida Extension, says that “Thanks to Government for initiating the such high valued development projects like Yamuna Expressway because of which we are seeing such growth”. Adding more words, he says, “We have 3 projects residential and a commercial project in the Noida Extension; we are working hard to complete these projects as soon as possible and we expect to sell out all the units in our projects”. Yamuna E-way is a fast growing locality that promises handsome returns to its investors.

The situation is same with the Gurgaon city as well. Here also the number of launched projects in the year 2012 were quite high than many other cities in country. Even though the rates of realty are at sky level still the number of apartments and the number of projects are marginally high than other cities like Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore.

The main reason of growth in these areas, located in the neighborhood of Delhi, is the national capital itself. Delhi is the main reason behind the developments in Noida and Gurgaon. Delhi offers great opportunities to people. Delhi is home to more than 5 million people. Everyday more and more people come to the city and these are the people who raise the word called demand. And where there is demand, there will be the supply. Their demand of real estate and infrastructure has shown a new ray of hope to the real estate companies to go for the development projects.
